Touches of Romance:

Romantic Activities

The Four Seasons Resort offers a variety of romantic welcomes, dinners, and private excursions to enhance your Bora Bora vacation or honeymoon. Popular romantic rendezvous include:

  • Romantic Canoe Breakfast: As the sun rises over the beautiful lagoon of Bora Bora, your breakfast will arrive via an outrigger canoe to the private terrace to your Overwater Bungalow.
  • Private Romantic Dinner: This experience is designed to re-create a romantic Polynesian style dinner and a visual splendor born of a landscape that, itself, seems good enough to eat. Enjoy a dinner in a warm and elegant setting at your ocean side terrace in your private suite, Tere Nui restaurant, or the elegant Arii Moana. Begin your dinner with a champagne toast and a selection of hors d'oeuvres, followed by an unforgettable candlelit dinner complemented by fresh local ingredients and a fine wine selection made by the master Sommelier.
  • Traditional Polynesian Wedding Ceremony: "Oro'a Faaipoipo Raa" means Wedding Ceremony in Tahitian and our goal is to re-create as close as possible the traditional Polynesian ceremony in a setting to make a bride blush. The ceremony takes place on the beach or a private motu. The couple will be dressed in their Suite in traditional white pareos and adorned with leis and crowns consisting of fresh local flowers. Once dressed, the couple will be escorted to a Polynesian pirogue (flat bottom canoe) entirely decorated with flowers and coconut fronds as they are transported to their ceremony site on the beach. Welcomed by Polynesian love songs and traditional dances, the master of ceremony will welcome the couple to the beach. During the ceremony, while seated in traditional Pomare armchairs, traditional songs will celebrate the union as they are each awarded with a unique Polynesian name. The union is then celebrated with a tropical cocktail served in a carved coconut shell. While the sun sets over Bora Bora's unmistakable lagoon, champagne and canapés will be served and a marriage certificate will be presented to mark the special occasion.
