Huahine is a great island to visit for a relaxing "back to nature" honeymoon. It is large, with beautiful mountains and lagoons that rival those of Bora Bora and Moorea. It is largely untouched and peaceful, truly a snapshot of Polynesian life from long ago. . We think this is the best island in the Society Islands Group to visit for a true flavor of the old, warm, carefree days of Polynesian life.
